Enrollment

The school year at Montessori Luna is a 10-month program from September to June. We are a one-classroom home-based Microschool with a max capacity for 8 children. We are a mixed-aged classroom.

Summer Camp: Summer camp will run for three weeks, Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM, starting Monday, August 4th, and ending Wednesday, August 20th. You can register for one, two, or all three weeks.

During summer camp, children will use hands-on materials to continue building motor skills, language, and social development. There will be water play, nature art, craft projects with Layne’s Art, and fun outings to Sudbrook Park.

Registrations for summer camp will start on Tuesday, January 21st.

Tours for the 2025-2026 school year will start in March. Please fill out the inquiry form. The school year begins on Tuesday, September 2nd, 2025 to June 18th, 2026.

Part-time programs:

2 Full days ( M/W or T/TH)

3 Mornings ( Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays 8:30 am to 12:30 pm)

Full-time program: 4 full days Monday to Thursday.

Hours

Our hours of operation are from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday to Thursday. We are closed on Fridays.

Before Care: 7:30 am to 8:30 am.

Full-Day: 8:30 am to 3:30 pm.

After Care: Monday to Thursday 3:45 pm to 5:00 pm.

We observe Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Presidents Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Indigenous People's Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day. Our school schedule is provided during our tours. We do not follow BCPS's inclement weather schedule.

Tuition

  • Monthly installment payments are paid every four (4) weeks.

    Primary (3 to 5 years old) Monday to Thursday.

Our monthly tuition for our two-day Primary Program is $620 (2 days a week, 3 to 5 years old).

Our monthly tuition for our four-day Primary Program is $850 (4 days a week, 3 to 5 years old).

Transition ( 2 years old to 3 years old ) Monday to Thursday.

Our monthly tuition for our 3 mornings Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday Programs 8:30 am to 12:30 pm is $580.

Our monthly tuition for our Transition Program is $660 (2 days a week).

Our monthly tuition for our Transition Program is $1040 (4 days a week).

A non-refundable deposit of $350 is required to reserve a spot.

Enrichment Programs:

  • Nature Mobile Programs seasonal.

  • Elljam Music program.

Piano Lessons:
