Enrollment

The school year at Montessori Luna is a 10-month program from September to June. We are a one-classroom home-based Microschool with a max capacity for 8 children. We are a mixed-aged classroom.

We are closed for summer break from June 24th, 2024 to August 1st, 2024.

Summer Camp starts August 5th,2024.

We have 1 full-time spot available for the 2024-2025 School year.

Our school year will start Tuesday, September 3rd, 2024 through Thursday, June 26th, 2025.

We offer:

Part-time programs:

2 Full days ( M/W or T/TH)

3 Mornings ( Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays). (No spot availability for the 2024-2025 school year).

Full-time program: 4 full days Monday to Thursday.

Hours

Our hours of operation are from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday to Thursday. We are closed on Fridays.

Before Care: 7:30 am to 8:30 am. There is no charge for beforecare.

Full-Day: 8:30 am to 3:30 pm.

After Care: Monday to Thursday 3:30 pm to 5:00 pm.

We observe Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Presidents Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Indigenous People's Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day. Our school schedule is provided during our tours. We do not follow BCPS's inclement weather schedule.

Tuition

  • Monthly installment payments are paid every four (4) weeks.

    Primary (3 to 5 years old) Monday to Thursday.

Our monthly tuition for our two-day Primary Program is $600 (2 days a week, 3 to 5 years old).

Our monthly tuition for our four-day Primary Program is $820 (4 days a week, 3 to 5 years old).

Transition ( 17 months old to 3 years old ) Monday to Thursday.

Our monthly tuition for our 3 mornings Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday Programs 8:30 am to 12:30 pm is $520.

Our monthly tuition for our Transition Program is $660 (2 days a week).

Our monthly tuition for our Transition Program is $1040 (4 days a week).

A non-refundable deposit of $350 is required to reserve a spot.

Enrichment Programs:

  • Yoga with Ms. Jasmine (Wyldflowerart.com).

  • Nature Mobile Programs.

Piano Lessons:

Piano Lessons (Ms. Katherine Boyce). This program is optional and starts at 4 years old. Katherineboycevoice.com.
